The new 2014 Kias Are Here!

This time of year is when car manufacturers introduce new models, and the 2014 Kia lineup is sure to turn heads and start conversations. If you've been thinking about a new car, consider one of these high quality, well-appointed new models from Kia.

Sorento

The Kia Sorento has new engine options, a redesigned interior, a new, stiffer chassis designed to give better handling and a new front suspension for a more comfortable ride. There are two engine options - a 2.4 liter 191 horse 4-cylinder or a 3.3 liter V-6 with 290 HP and 330 pounds of torque for solid performance. Both come with front wheel drive or optional 4-wheel drive. There's an optional 8-inch navigation system and a premium sound system in the newly redesigned cabin. There are four trim levels, the LX, EX, SX and SXL. The rugged and solid Sorento is an impressive mid-size SUV for outdoorsy types who need to tow a small boat or pack lots of gear.

Sedona

Fans of the Sedona will be happy to see it back in Kia's lineup with the well-appointed 2014 model that brings a ton of goodies with it. The exterior redesign gives the Sedona a modern look, and the optional power doors and power moon roof add a nice to touch to this roomy family vehicle that seats seven in its three rows. The Sedona is loaded with safety features, including side curtain air bags for all three rows, side impact bags in front, active head restraints, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability, rear backup camera and rear parking sensors. Sedona is a perfect car for a family or anyone who drives for a group.

Cadenza

The Cadenza is new for 2014, and it's a terrific addition to the Kia lineup. With front wheel drive and a wheelbase of 112 inches, the Cadenza comes in only one trim level - the Premium, but with three option packages. The Technology package adds alloy wheels, adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection and an electronic parking brake. The Luxury package adds a panoramic sunroof, heated leather seats, a retractable sunshade, electronic tilt and telescope, along with a settings memory that configures the car just the way you like it. The third package adds an all-white interior and suede and wood grain trim, so you may not see a lot of families opting for it. The Cadenza is a sporty four-door sedan that will appeal to people who appreciate luxury but don't feel the need to pay extra to get it.

Forte

Kia has another winner with the redesigned 2014 Forte that is sleek and sporty. The 106-inch wheelbase contributes to a smooth ride and ensures that the rear seat is comfortable for adults. Forte is fuel efficient at 29 MPG combined for the LX model and 28 MPG for the EX. The EPA numbers are the same whether you opt for the 6-speed manual transmission or the optional 6-speed electronic transmission. The Forte is loaded up with little luxuries well beyond what you'd expect given its low price tag, and for people on a budget who don't want to sacrifice either style or performance to save money, Forte is an excellent choice.
