Dear friend,

Thank you for your recent gift to Special Olympics Connecticut in support of year-round, inclusive sports programs and health/wellness/fitness offerings for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We received your donation in the amount of $2500 on September 12, 2023 for the Law Enforcement Torch Run and appreciate your generosity.

As we look towards the post-pandemic future, we are eager to continue to reactivate our local programs while returning to regular in-person experiences. Despite the challenges of the past few years, we have adapted to the changing landscape and continue to provide meaningful engagement opportunities for our community of athletes. Our goal in 2023 is to improve the mental health of our athletes through Special Olympics' sports and health programming and bring SOCT closer to the athlete numbers we served prior to 2020.
Thank you for being a member of the Special Olympics Connecticut family and for contributing to our athletes' success.
Sincerely,

Michael B. Mason President and CEO

February 10, 2021 - Rick Marino (Representing the Premier Subaru Team) and Nate Glazewski (Representing the Premier Kia Team) donated a van full of food to the West Haven Emergency Assistance Taskforce (WHEAT) in West Haven.  This collection was the culmination of more than a month of efforts by both the Premier Subaru and Premier Kia teams to assist needed organizations in our community.  During January, 2021, both showrooms had vehicles available to store donations - from employees and clients alike - for donation.   The efforts of the Premier team led to a van full of non-perishable food being collected.

WHEAT is a non-profit charity, located in West Haven, CT., that exists on donations of food and funds and has been in existence for more than 45 years.  It is a volunteer organization that assists more than 5,000 households and families, including those that are unemployed, underemployed, disabled, seniors on a fixed income, veterans with limited benefits and children.
